Indigenous & Community Engagement

Amaroo Landscape Group is a proudly Indigenous-owned and operated company certified by Supply Nation.

Amaroo is committed to work alongside supporting our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people by assisting in opening paths for their future.

Our Indigenous and community involvement is championed by our Managing Director, Adam Sarota, a proud Yidinji man from Gordonvale in Far North Queensland. We are endeavoured to provide educational and employment opportunities for those who seek to succeed and build their future and also to share the proud culture of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people.

The way Forward

ONE MOB INITIATIVE

Amaroo created the One Mob Initiative as a pathway for Indigenous people to pursue tertiary and employment opportunities they may not ordinarily have access to or the inspiration to achieve on their own. We proudly support the recipients of this initiative with vocational and financial support to assist with this journey.

KICKIN' WITH A CUZ

Amaroo Landscape Group partners with a not-for-profit organisation, Kickin’ With a Cuz, that is designed to reach young Indigenous and underprivileged children through football which assists and create a viable pathway to make better life choices.

INDIGENOUS PROCUREMENT

Amaroo Landscape Group supports Indigenous businesses through our procurement process and actively engages with other Indigenous businesses to assist with their growth and prosperity.
